October 8th kicks off the 20th Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival and for 11 days, Seattle will play host to some fantastic films that you won’t want to miss! Three movie theatres, 12th Ave Arts and Rebar will be showing films. The opening night party will be happening at Grim’s with the closing at Hotel Max with Gay City and the Il Fornaio Bakery Cafe playing host as well during SLGFF.
Here in Divaland we are especially excited not only to be sponsors but also playing host to one of the soirees prior to a showing. Diva Dweller Sylvia OStayformore presented “Come Fly with Me” earlier this year which was a huge success and she’s at it again!
A full evening of Jackie Susann’s films—VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, LOVE MACHINE, and ONCE IS NOT ENOUGH—all mashed into one debaucherous event! Sylvia will be your love therapist as she guides you through these high-camp movies brimming with pill popping, booze drinking, and drag song-and-dance fun. Come in your best Pucci attire and sign up for prizes!
“Come Fly with Me” was a hysterical evening complete with airline donated snacks and Sylvia dressed up in her flight attendant’s best. Sylvia’s “Night with Jacqueline” is sure to be just as amazing if not better! Team Diva will be hosting a pre show soiree at Diva HQ/Retail Therapy complete with nibbles, drinks, Pucci attire and special appearances by Miss Kitty Baby and DonnaTella Howe!
