Our resident Rent Guru Roy is a year younger and possibly a year wiser. Roy is a mover and shaker in the rental world—he is a dynamo at getting the deal done. Natch, we at Diva HQ are grateful to have this guy around—for more than just his tenacious rental deal finding! Our buddy Roy brings plenty of spark and sass to HQ. Here are the top ten reasons we are thankful for another year with Roy.
- Daisy’s and Chris Clem’s favorite cuddle puddle buddy. You can often find these three on a couch someplace getting a good snuggle in.
- Roy is a house cat. Not to be confused with feral kitty or homebody. He has house. It’s cool. Cool people come to the house.
- If you ask anyone in Seattle there would be two degrees of separation between them and Roy. Roy has a lot of friends.
- Want the best Old Fashioned in Seattle? Hopefully you are lucky enough to be invited to Roy’s house for a hand crafted concoction. If not, just ask him where the best in Seattle is, he’ll be happy to tell you.
- Roy really LOVES his clients. Not a little love. But a big love. How many of you have received a sweet text, hung out for brunch, or just chat for the fun of it.
- Our artist-in-residence, Roy lends a special flair to the team. He keeps us—and our Diva Dwellers and Divotees up to speed on the art happenings around town.
- Calm in voice and manner, this guy is cool as a cucumber and helps balance all our wacky Diva energy.
- Sometimes you’re touring a property and you turn around and see Roy plastered against the door and despite yourself, you’re laughing.
- Who else makes listing boxes for our cars, removes Christmas trees from condos and takes the best care of your dog-sitter? Roy manages to make everyone feel special and taken care of.
- He makes charmingly bad jokes.
Roy is also an amazing team member. There are many times in Divaland when things are flying, what you thought your day was going to be turns chaotic . Random things happen. And Roy is there to make sure Divaland is still having fun by making jokes, creating listing boxes for our cars, and generally having a good time!
