Did you hear the news?! Katy Perry wants to move to Seattle!

Katy Perry, like most of us, has felt the warmth of our blue skies and the sweet song of our kind, neighborly voices. She is quoted as saying,

This feels like the place I need to be at this time in my life.

I couldn’t agree more, Katy! Come join us! Let me help you find a home.

Being a Diva herself, Katy would really only have one choice real estate agency choice. Team Diva Real Estate.

Ms. Perry has said she wants to move here for the relaxed, laid back lifestyle and amazing views. For someone for whom money is not a top priority. I’ve found 6 properties that will make Katy feel at home and still give the full Seattle experience.

Having never met this power Diva, I have to imagine what is most important for Katy in searching for a Seattle home. My guess is privacy, lots of space for hosting out-of-towners, great views, and most likely a pool. For Ms. Perry’s consideration, I have homes in the sky, by the water and in between. I’ve limited my search to the Seattle City limits. The rest of the Pacific Northwest is great, but Seattle is where it’s at. #Sorrynotsorry Mercer Island…

Here is a link to all of the listings via the Northwest MLS

Thank you to the agents and owners who allowed me to write about their homes. Please check out more information on the individual listing agent’s websites.

Stellar Views! (hello Space Needle) How can you beat this condo? Hardwood Floors, hardwood walls, and marble touches in the bathrooms? Yes Please! There is plenty of room for a piano. You can host guests. This condo is one fo two on the top floor. It boasts three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and three parking spaces. If you are going to live in the air, this condo is the way to go. Up here, you live above the city and above your worries. You won’t find better views anywhere else in town. Katy, if you are looking for a condo, you need this penthouse.

If I were a betting man. I would bet this home would be Katy’s choice. Look at this beautiful Broadmoor home. Curb appeal for days!. Palm trees! Five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a POOL as well as a three car garage. Katy seems like the type that needs an SUV for the mountains, a sports car for the long drives around the sound, and a Mercedes sedan just because. Each of them would have a home in this Spanish inspired abode. This home has been lovingly cared for and shows true craftsmanship and attention to detail. Of all the options, this is the most “California” available on the market. This house is ready for MTV Cribs. What happened to that show?

This house is more out of the box than the rest. It’s on the list because it is forward thinking. It’s in Magnolia which is not really considered young and hip, but here we are with a modern house that screams to be enjoyed. Seriously, look at that master bedroom! How could you not wake up with a smile every day in a bedroom like that? You’re right, the spaces are not huge, but they are dynamic. Every space unlocks your imagination and inspires creativity. I think this house defines where we are as a city. I won’t get into it too far, but it calls back to the past while still looking forward. It’s urban but not too urban. It’s large but not overstated. It’s housing perfection in minimalist form. This house is special and living in it will make you feel special too.

412 34th Ave MLS 858537 $2,880,000
This one may not be as big as a few of the homes on this list, but there are two HUGE reasons to buy this one. It has a HUGE kitchen and a HUGE view of Mt. Rainier. With a name like Villa Sculptura, you know you are purchasing a special property. Not many homes in Seattle’s market are offering gold leaf ceilings or a catwalk across your indoor pool. It’s also very private from the street. You may not be on the water, but you’ll have a great view of it. If I lived here, I’d have all my friends over to watch the Blue Angles in the summer time. The rest of the year, we would kick it by the indoor pool. A smaller city house could always be accented by a larger home in the woods.

4911 NE Laurelcrest Lane MLS 853271 $13,250,000
When I think of Pacific Northwest Luxury, this home is the pinnacle. From the waterfront location to the choices in materials throughout this house is a gem in a city of Emeralds. Let’s be honest, this house is HUGE. At 11,000 square feet, hosting seven bedrooms and nearly seven full baths, this house is the biggest on the list. It may not include a pool, but who needs a pool when you have this beautiful dock right onto Lake Washington. A home like this would likely convince Katy’s friends that Seattle is the place to be.

The Premiere on Pine – 1525 9th Ave  – $6,000 ish per month
Being the Rent Guru, I have to wonder. Maybe Katy would like to rent for a while, just to check us out. You know, see if the Seattle Freeze sets in. What building could be better than the Premiere? None of them. These are the condos that buyers are chomping for. But you can’t buy them, you can only rent. If you came to our holiday party, you know that the views from the Premiere are spectacular. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms should be more than enough space for a downtown Diva. This building also has all the great amenities as well as an outdoor dog area on the 6th floor. She won’t even have to take the pups to the street. If she did take them to the street, she would find a lot of mixing Seattle stereotypes. Capitol Hill is across the freeway and the transit center is across the street. Paramount is on this corner as well. Personally, I really want to live here. The views from the Premiere on Pine make you feel like you live in the center of a real city. It’s Seattle, all grown up.
