The Divas want to send out a huge thank you to all of you who were able to make it out last Saturday to this year’s Divas Take the Hill and support Peace for the Streets by Kids from the Streets (PSKS). As usual, the event was filled with fans, fun, and a host of fiery performances. As our hostest, Miss DonnaTella Howe, showed us all that night, a little party never hurt nobody – and we think everyone came out thinking the same thing. We swooned as Ceasar Hart serenaded the crowd and laughed along with the fun our girl Atasha Manila was having. We listened intently to astro-guru Stephanie to get a sneak peek into what was in the stars for us. We let our jaws hit the floor as our go-go boys, Reece and Shaw, showed us how to twerk. We even had double the kitty fun with the pink-haired newcomer, Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, and Divas Take the Hill veteran and resident crowd-pleaser, Miss Kitty Baby Burlesque bringing their sexy selves to the stage. By the end of the night, everyone was ready to hit the dance floor themselves, shaking what their mommas gave them to the tunes of DJ Tony Burns.
The most notable part of the evening, however, was the incredible work that all of the performers and guests did in support of our friends at PSKS. By the end of the evening, we raised over $3,250 in support of homeless LGBTQ youth in Seattle – A NEW DIVA RECORD! We are hugely proud of this accomplishment, but more than that, we are so appreciative of all of our performers, volunteers, and sponsors who dedicated their time to making this event what it was. We also want to thank everyone who came out to support the event and PSKS, because without you, there would be no event. Congratulations to each and every one of you for making this year’s Divas Take the Hill such a magnificent success!
