What makes you a top broker in Seattle?
As a Top Broker in Seattle, I sell much more than just houses—I sell a service! Some things just aren’t teachable; like having passion, you either have it or you don’t, and I have a true passion for people and their unique goals! I strive to go above and beyond even after the transaction is over. I empower my clients so they have all the tools in their tool belts to navigate the process to a successful outcome! Also working on an amazing supportive team full of rockstar brokers really takes the Diva Difference to the next level.
What do you do for your buyer and seller clients that are unique or special?
I basically spoil my clients, so they feel as though they are the only ones I’m working with! How I deal with each Diva Dweller is unique and I adjust to each of my clients’ styles. It’s important I learn my clients’ expectations so I can exceed them. I will run Estate Sales, pack up the home, paint after moving in, and much, much more. This is a relationship-based business and my clients and I become lifelong friends. I also make sure we have lots of FUN—real estate can be stressful and my goal is to make this ride as smooth as possible. So, if we do encounter any bumps, you won’t even feel them!
How does your family’s legacy of living in Seattle’s Central District inform your role as a real estate agent?
The Central District in Seattle has a unique culture of its own. My deep family history in this area not only motivates me to keep the standards of this industry high, but it also inspires me with its sense of community, art, food, music and of course the personal stories.
The Central Area is a historic epicenter where Black culture is known and felt. It is home to the Northwest African American Museum, and Garfield High School. It’s even the second headquarters to the Seattle Black Panther Party. So much award-winning talent has come from this area, too. Ernestine Anderson, Jimi Hendrix, Quincy Jones, and Bruce Lee are just a few to name! I am beyond proud of my family roots in this beautiful community. Understanding the history of this land is an important way I honor my ancestors.
What is the most rewarding part of being a top broker in Seattle?
The most rewarding part about being a top broker in Seattle is the people I get to work. I love getting to literally watch my clients dreams come true. Reading the thank you cards from clients after the transactions really fill my cup! My clients’ goals become my goals and helping them get to that finish line—well informed and confident—is incredibly rewarding.
My passion and work ethic are unmatched and I have yet to find a problem I can’t solve. I clearly remember someone asking me in 2018 “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” My reply? “I’m going to be a top producing agent in this office!” Fast forward, I am now on Team Diva, top 1% of Broker teams at Coldwell Banker International, and it’s truly an honor to be in this space.
What is your favorite thing about working with Team Diva?
My favorite part about working with Team Diva is the vast expertise amongst us, the support we provide to each other, and all the fun we have in celebrating our clients and successes! Together we have seen almost every kind of transaction. We keep our folks well informed and ahead of the game. The way we go over and beyond for one another is unlike any other team dynamic I have experienced.
