This summer has been packed – packed to the brim with real estate deals, fun with friends old and new, and planning for the Big Diva Wedding Bash. But just as some people are hitting the height of their summer “vacation” months, we here at Diva HQ are hitting peak season in real estate networking. This summer has been crazy with planning conference appearances and even penning a section of a book – as if we weren’t hustlin’ enough houses already!
Next week, the Divas are off to Vancouver, British Columbia to attend the North American Business and Real Estate Investment Summit, sponsored by the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA). This summit will offer a chance for agents, developers, and investors to gather and share business opportunities and best practices from their own lines of work. But what really makes us excited to be attending this conference is that Diva Kim has been offered the opportunity to present on, not one, but two panels at the conference. First, Kim will be presenting with other industry leaders on the Digital & Technology Innovation panel about some of her must-have gadgets for getting ahead in the real estate industry. Second time around, Kim will be elaborating on our Diva favorite: social media. Presenting on the Utilizing Social Media in Real Estate panel, Kim will be talking about her top social media platforms, how people can wet their feet in the wild world of social media, and what some of the pitfalls are for first-time users. We are super excited to head up North for a quick work vacation, both to share our successes and learn from so many new people at the conference.
Another thing Kim has been working hard on lately is writing a book! Okay, well she isn’t writing a whole book, but she is being featured in a section of Dave Crumby‘s upcoming book Real: A Path to Passion, Purpose, and Profits in Real Estate. Kim will be spotlighted in a section called “Letters from Leaders,” which aims to give small “one-hitter” lessons in real estate that current industry leaders would offer to newbies. We are so honored to have been chosen as an industry leader, contributing to this book among the likes of Brad Inman of Inman News, Matthew Beall of Hawaii Life, and Krisstina Wise of the GoodLife Team. Stay on the lookout for the book’s release!
Even though we have been super pressed for time with all of these extra opportunities, this is how we love to spend our time – spreading the love of real estate all around!
