Kim and Donna Helped A New Diva Dweller With Buying a Home in Wedgwood
It was really important to Molly to find a home in a specific neighborhood. This type of home specificity is something we love to work on. Once Molly found the home Kim and Donna got to work to figure out how to make this home happen. Here is the story about how Molly and Dave became Diva Dwellers.
The Search Begins for Buying a Home in Wedgwood
Our wonderful buyer clients were a referral from a past Team Diva client. Molly and her partner Dave knew the general area of where they wanted to live—they were already living in Ravenna and wanted to stay in NE Seattle, ideally in Maple Leaf or Wedgwood.
Finding a quieter location was a top priority since our client Molly is a midwife and sometimes works 24 hours at a time. They also wanted a great yard, since her partner Dave is a landscaper and loves to cultivate bonsai.
We cannot wait to see how this garden is going to be transformed!
Finding “The One” Fabulous Home
Our clients knew this home was “The One” as soon as they saw it. The front yard is so lush, private, and beautifully spacious. The home was nicely remodeled which meant it had that move-in ready vibe.
Key to this home was the location was perfectly quiet and peaceful!
All in all the home search didn’t take too long—maybe a month! Kim and Donna toured about 5 homes with Molly. Our Diva Dweller Molly had such a clear idea on what she wanted that it made the process even easier. Sometimes you know because you know!
And as soon as the right property at the right price point popped up, we jumped!
Making a Strategic Offer on the Home
It helped that our client was completely educated about the home-buying process BEFORE she made an offer. This way she was able to think through what her offer was going to be without having to ALSO learn about the process at the same time. This was key in making sure this process went well.
First up was making sure that Molly was pre-approved by a great loan officer who was able to close in less than 10 days. It made all of the difference when it came to making the offer.
