The first pride was a riot. It happened 50 years ago, when a bunch of fed-up LGBT warriors at Stonewall Inn pushed back against police harassment. They struck with their heels, lobbed bricks, and made clear for all to see: We are not going anywhere.

Few at the first Pride would have dared to imagine that marriage equality would be the law of the land. Since then, LGBT+ have continued to bravely face many crises and tragedies. And will continue to do so, wherever bigotry and indifference rear their ugly heads.

During Pride month, we celebrate all the progress we have made while getting energized for the fights to come. Are you ready to party?

We have compiled this extensive list of the almost daily queer parties and events throughout June. To make it easier to browse, we’ve included some Emojis for quick reference, such as for family-friendly events, official Pride Fest happenings, and drag performances. This list is so extensive, we just include those general tidbits, the date and time, and links to the events’ pages. Check out our week-by-week listings for more our more in-depth summaries.

Week 1 of Pride Month + Recurring Events

When Pride Week hits, there are two event series running June 26-30 that you should look into: Alternative Pride presented by NARK and company at various venues, and the Pride at Kremwerk Complex, including their day drag events (June 27, 28 and 29).

The Divas will actually be in New York City to mark the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots at the end of June, but the rest of the month is one big party in Seattle and beyond, including a very special Happy Hour we are hosting at Palace Theater and Art Bar on Friday, June 14. Don’t miss it!
