Divas Kim & Chavi in the new Diva HQ
Divas Kim & Chavi in the new Diva HQ

The time has finally come for Team Diva to transition to the next phase in their goal of creating a more community integrated real estate vision. And with this new vision comes a brand new home for the DivaHQ. No – we have not left our partnership with Coldwell Banker Bain, but we have said good-bye to the old Olive Way Corridor and our times in the Garden Court are now part of the Diva Memory Books. Although some of our favorite digs like Vino Verité and Tommy Gun are on Olive Way, part of our goal is to be more integrated within the Capitol Hill community/neighborhood. We wanted a space where we could be more up to date on the hustle and bustle of the Hill, partner with non-real estate related business folks, have enough space to throw great happy hour parties, and provide a “home-away-from-home” that was still central for all of our Diva Dwellers and Divotees.

We are excited to announce that we have found that space! The Divas have a long been fans and friends with Wazhma Samizay, the creator/owner of Retail Therapy, one of our favorite shops on the Hill. We even hosted our first community fundraiser in 2009 and our first ever Divas Take the Hill in 2011 at Retail Therapy. Now it is not only one of our fav hangouts – it is home of the new DivaHQ. We’ve moved to the bustling Pike & Pine Stretch and settled up in the mod loft space at Retail Therapy. Not only do we have more lunch and coffee options (which still overwhelms us!), but we’ve spruced it up something fierce and created a makeshift second living room for the Diva Family. So next time you find yourself on the Hill and want to see a friendly face, dance around to some funky tunes, or laugh at the newest Diva music video pick, you know where to find us! Make sure you stop by the new DivaHQ at 905 E Pike. As long as the Divas are in you are always welcome to come on up and say “hi”, enjoy an espresso, or maybe do a little shopping when you need some “retail therapy.” Hope to see you at the new HQ soon!
