What is this you say we “Just Listed and Just Sold our fab View Condo at the Onyx Condo in Seattle on Capitol Hill? Why yes – it is all about the #DivaDifference. We sold this home for 14.3% over asking! Why you ask? Fix whats broken, make it beautiful, and market the heck out of the home.
This time around we were face with a short timeline to get this baby on the market. We knew the building was getting ready to be wrapped to do exterior work by the end of the month. And being Recession Real Estate war vets we all know what happens to condo values in Seattle when they are faced with exterior work. They plummet. So we just went for it. The Diva Team saw it on a Thursday, did the analysis on Saturday, photographed and did the video on Tuesday, did all of the marketing preparation on Wednesday, and finally a week later it was LIVE. Whew!
The interesting thing that we have been noticing this season is when our Diva Dwellers take ownership of the process and just do what is on the list to get their home on the market they get WAY above market price for their home. And good lord did our Diva Dwellers pull out all of the stops. They packed, cleaned, decluttered, and went crazy to get their home ready. And then we came in and pulled out all of the stops to make sure this home sold for not only a lot over asking but for one of the highest price per square foot units in the Onyx as well.
