Top Five Favorite Things We Love About This Vintage Garden Court Condo in Capitol Hill

Take a moment to learn more about this Capitol Hill condo. It is filled with stunning details, an amazing community, and one of our favorite courtyards in Seattle.

Beautiful Vintage Building with Tons of Outdoor Space

Garden Court is aptly named: This condo building is super unique in that when you first arrive, there’s a gated courtyard with a gorgeous fountain in the entry. You’ll also find lots of common space outside, a beautiful lush deck, and even a private garden. Spend time out in the fresh air without even having to leave the grounds!

Rare Corner Unit

Thanks to the fact that this condo is a corner unit, this lovely condo is characterized by a bright and airy atmosphere. There’s lots of rich wood featured in this unit, but don’t worry, this doesn’t make things feel dark thanks to all of the natural light. And the corner living room window even looks out onto the picturesque garden area outside.

Vintage Charm Throughout

You really need to give yourself time to fully appreciate all of the details in this Garden Court condo. They really don’t make ‘em like this anymore! Original hardwood floors, a coved ceiling, and beautiful Art Deco details are ready to delight. And the wood moldings are still in very good condition.

Another charming detail is the sweet little nook that offers a few different possibilities. You can set up the cutest home office here, giving you a dedicated space just off of the living room to work from home. At the end of the day, close the French doors and switch into relaxation mode!

Substantial Amount of Storage

Oftentimes, one of the downsides of older condos is that there just isn’t much storage. But that’s not the case with this Garden Court condo. For starters, there are some exquisite built-ins. There are also 2 large closets, and even a big closet in the bedroom. Yes, this condo has a total of 3 closets! And there’s even storage in the basement.

Enviable Capitol Hill Location

Living on 16th in Capitol Hill means that you’re literally blocks from some of Capitol Hill’s most highly desired destinations. First off, when you need to pick up groceries or grab a bite to eat, Central Co-op is practically across the street. Find tons of specialty foods, organic produce, and a great deli here. Trader Joe’s is just up the street, too.

When you want a nice dinner out or it’s the weekend and time to spend a night out on the town, Capitol Hill’s Pike/Pine Corridor is practically in your backyard. A few of my favorite restaurants within reach include Spinasse, Artusi, Kedai Mekan, Plenty of Clouds, Oola, Skillet, and Diesel. Head north along 15th Ave to find even more fabulous restaurants like Smith, Rione XIII, Bar Vacilando, Victrola Coffee Roasters, Liberty, Jamjuree, and Hopvine. That’s just the tip of the iceberg here!

One of the additional reasons why people love this particular area so much is for its many public transit options. Several buses run through the area, and the Capitol Hill Link Light Rail Station is a quick scooter ride away.
