The Georgetown Townhome we just listed is stunning. Our client has gone through and updated this entire home. Most townhome owners keep the builder-grade counters and cabinets. Not in this home. You have to see this home in person to truly appreciate this space. Beyond the updates, we love the amazing main living area, the adorable yard, the grand primary suite, the sleek kitchen, and the fantastic neighborhood.

Let’s dive into the details of this home below
The Reason We Are Crushing on This Georgetown Townhome
Our newest townhouse listing was built in 2007 at a time when townhomes live larger than they do now. This means in this townhome you have an incredible kitchen and open living room layouts. And the bedrooms are stunning!
The Amazing Main Living Area
If you have ever been to a townhome in Seattle, you know that MOST newer townhomes feel quite claustrophobic. Narrow living rooms, barely space to put a dining table or entertain more than 2 people, cramped bedrooms, and the list goes on. That is not the case here! This townhome has SO MUCH SPACE. This home was built in 2007 – when builders were a little more generous in their construction style, land was cheaper, and making money on new construction was a lot easier. Which means this townhome lives large. Now, while the layout is all mid-2000s – the design is NOT. This home was completely remodeled in 2017! So you get the best of both worlds – modern design without the cramped layout!
The Adorable Yard
You know what else townhomes had in 2007 – YARDS! Yep – this home has an adorable front yard with space for your pupper to play and your friends to chill. BBQ, enjoy your morning coffee, gather your pals for happy hour. Heck, there is even room for a killer game of cornhole! The seller also added this Pet Platinum turf from Synlawn. It has a self-drainage backing designed to let water flow through into the french drain layers below and is super easy to maintain. They also installed the covered structure so you can enjoy the yard while avoiding the glare of the late afternoon summer sun or getting rained on during those Fall and Spring showers.
The Grand Primary Suite
This primary suite is probably one of the BIGGEST I’ve seen in a townhome. There is room here for a King Size bed, side tables, and a dresser. There is a spacious bathroom and a walk-in closet. And the vaulted ceiling add to the grandness of this room. I’ve seen a ton of townhomes in my 25 years of buying and selling real estate and this primary suite is better than some I’ve seen in million dollar homes. You will never feel cramped or claustrophobic in this room. There is even room for a little chill space by the window to read a good book or listen to your favorite podcast when you need some personal space from your loved ones. And to make this room even more special than it already is – the seller added a mini-split so you can easily cool down in the heat of the summer.
The Sleek Chic Kitchen
I love this kitchen! As with everything else in this fabulous home, the kitchen does not disappoint. The open and sleek design makes it super easy – and fun – to craft great meals with your loved ones or friends and not be on top of eachother. There is tons of cabinetry and counter space for those who love their gadgets. Get that Kitchen Aid mixer, De’Longhi Espresso machine, Instapot, and Air Fryer. Guess what? They would ALL fit on this counter and you would still have room to chop all those veggies. I think this kitchen might even be bigger than the kitchen at Chez Diva! And the 2017 remodel has given this kitchen a sleek, chic look. Modern design without the cramped space. Again. Just saying…
The Fantastic Neighborhood
Georgetown is home to amazing food, killer coffee shops, funky old school bars, an iconic park, and a Trailer Park Mall! I mean – I would be sold on the Trailer Park Mall alone! Basically, there is something for everyone here in Georgetown.
First let’s chat about the food! I love to eat in Georgetown. My favorite places are Fonda La Catrina and their sister restaurant, El Sirenito. Both offer fabulous Mexican food and cocktails – with a stunning array of Tequilas and Mezcals to enjoy. One of our seller’s fave places is Matt’s Famous Chilli Dogs, where you can belly up to the counter and order a personalized dog piled high with toppings. (And when we say “dog” we mean Hot Dog!) Our seller also loves to go to Star Brass Works for a great burger and a stiff drink – which we all need once in a while! Some other great places to try in Georgetown are Ciudad, Mezzanotte, the Corson Building – which also is a fabulous spot to host a small elegant event, and Deep Sea Sugar and Salt – home to the best cakes in Seattle!
What I love most about Georgetown is that it is this quirky, funky, fun neighborhood full of creative and innovative folks. I mean – there is the Trailer Park Mall, where you can find super cool stuff to buy and where entrepreneurs can have an affordable spot to house their business until they get more well known. Georgetown also host some fabulous event like the monthly Saturday Art Attack, and yearly events like Honk Fest, the Georgetown Carnival, and the San Gennaro Festival – which being Italian – is one of my fave festivals!
Bottom line – there is always something to do in Georgetown and you will never want for a great place to go to eat, drink.
