Setting the Scene
These lovely sellers were referred to us by one of our longtime Diva Dwellers, Ken McGrady. We sold him a home across the street and he and our Beacon Hill sellers became friends over the years. We originally connected with our Beacon Hill sellers in November of 2024. Our sellers decided they wanted to live across the pond in Bremerton and found a great home they could not resist buying late last fall.
Time to Strategize
Between needing to close on their new home, moving, the holidays, and the time needed to prep the house, we decided February 2025 would be the best time to list their Diva Dwelling for sale. We were super happy they contacted us so early in the process. It gave us time to find the best stager for the home and make sure ALL the work was completed in a non-frenzied manner.
Preparing the Home for Listing Day
Luckily for us, our smart and savvy sellers had already done a beautiful job with the upgrades on their home. The kitchen was done and the half-bath was updated. They had painted the inside with some cool fun colors, most of which we all agreed to keep when the home was repainted for the sale. Other than painting, there was some minor work our clients needed to do on the exterior of the home (including some freshening up of the yard), which they took care of themselves.
Smooth Sailing Thanks to Planning Ahead
Once this home hit the market, it was very popular! We had multiple showings most of the days the home was on the market and fairly crowded open houses. We set an offer review date of a week after we listed, and received 2 very good offers! This was a super easy breezy transaction. The inspection went swimmingly and the buyers asked for nothing. And we closed with zero issues!
