Matt and Manuela will always be known as some of the first Diva Dwellers. Back when Kim was still driving around the little 1992 Honda Civic that was all bumped, bruised, and covered from windshield to taillight in liberal bumper stickers, Matt and Manuela were looking for an agent and decided to put their trust in Kim. Just as they were just about to tie the knot, we helped them not only buy their first place, but sell one of Kim’s first homes too.
Three houses and four kids later, we are still ecstatic to have Matt, Manuela, and all their little tikes as part of the Diva Dweller family. Let me just say, the M&M kids are just cute as pie. As agents, it’s a rare occurrence that we get the chance to see families develop and grow as much as this one has. We can’t wait to see more of them in years to come!
Here is Matt + Manuela’s Diva Dweller story:
How did you meet the Divas? Matthew wanted to buy our new house while I was in Mexico preparing for our wedding. He was driving around Burien and saw one of Kim’s listings – turns out it was her first listing ever – and called the number on the sign.
What type of home did you purchase? We bought a one story house in Highland Park.
What was your first “OMG” house moment? When we started pulling the carpet off and saw there were hardwood floors underneath we said “we can make this look great!”
What is your greatest home extravagance? I am not sure. With four young kids I guess we focus on what is functional and what is going to outlast their rambunctiousness!
What is in your junk drawer? Keys, pencils, batteries, pokemon cards, tacky glue, sunscreen, candy
What is your favorite Hood hangout spot? We love the West Seattle YMCA, and Alki beach is a favorite for everybody in the family
What is your favorite local organization/non-profit? We truly like Westside Baby and all they do for the community.
What do you love the most about your house? It has a very homey feel to it. And the location is awesome! We can just walk to what the Admiral District has to offer.
