GET TO KNOW

Greenwood

Greenwood’s main street has always been a booming little commercial district north of Seattle. Residents and business owners alike fall in love with this North Seattle neighborhood. Throughout the year, it offers a lively mix of boutiques, cultural venues, cafes, and restaurants. Greenwood’s two big annual events, the SeaFair Parade and Classic Car Show, each bring thousands of visitors to the area. Those who live here are also sure to appreciate having quick access to the new light rail station at Northgate. Highway 99 and Interstate-5 are also easily accessible from here, making it a great option for those who commute.

OUR FAVORITES SPOTS

A beloved boutique of mostly Tibetan goods, including incense and candles, jewelry, décor and more.
Sit down with a great beer, order some fresh duck eggs to take home with you, and chat with some of the taxidermy squirrels warming themselves by the campfire.
Formerly a commercial nursery, now a clean, open 2.2 acre park with play areas for kids.
Good coffee and brilliant interior inside the place. A pretty awesome music selection and delicious desserts.
Named for Serge Gainsbourg, an aptly cool and romantic lounge with small plates and a full bar.
