South Seattle

South Seattle includes several neighborhoods, each with their own unique amenities and attractions. Typically, South Seattle is considered to be any neighborhood that’s south of Interstate-90 and east of West Seattle. This includes neighborhoods like North Beacon Hill and South Beacon Hill, Mount Baker, Columbia City, Hillman City, Seward Park, Rainier Valley, Rainier Beach, and Georgetown.

Many people choose to live in South Seattle for its ease of getting around. The Link Light Rail runs through pretty much all of South Seattle, and offers easy access to SeaTac International Airport. You’ve also got easy access to both I-5 and I-90 from several points.

Locals also love the area for its many parks—Lake Washington beaches, a food forest, a golf course, dog parks, and iconic Kubota Gardens and Seward Park are all at your fingertips.
