House Stars – February / A Real Estate Astrology Guide
An astrology guide for real estate professionals!

House Stars - Feb

First off, wow January! We watched many of our stars return to the heavens (David Bowie, Allan Rickman, Glenn Frey, and others.). And we also saw many of our peers go through some deep soul searching, about their lives and about their careers.

It feels like a very powerful experience to reflect on January and what the Mercury Retrograde may have yielded for us.

What came up for you and how are you going to plan on implementing some of the changes that you found yourself considering?

February’s Stellar Focus: Venus
This month—especially the first week of February—finds the planet Venus in the spotlight in a very special way. And with that, all that is related to that planet’s domain—relationships, beauty, art, diplomacy, and agreements—may show up quite palpably and in a very special way, one that encourages us to innovate and find a deeper level of honesty with ourselves.

Things that have tenuous foundations may seem to disintegrate in an out-of-the-blue way. For example, those “Emperor is wearing no clothes” kind of deals may fall apart. Or, the house you thought was great actually needs a ton of work. Or, the client you have been working with for six months just lost a chunk of their down payment in the recent stock market downturn. Or, for many of us who just got back from a big conference, we are asking why certain people are getting recognition when others who are far more innovative are being left on the sidelines?

In the first week of February, your transactions may require a flexible approach so that they can re-forge into what it is that they want to be. Watch for control and power issues coming to the surface. It’s also possible that secrets or information that’s been withheld— related to financial agreements or partnerships— may emerge.

You may be able to take these vital insights and use them to your advantage after the 9th. If you’ve been looking to launch a new innovative campaign, and it works with your schedule, doing so between the 14th and 22nd may be you a good window for setting something new in motion.

February’s Business Approach
You know that plan that you worked on and reworked on in January? If it feels ready to launch in February, you may want to wait until after the first week to do so. That’s because the opening of the month will allow you even more time to figure out who your people are and how to deliver the tool to them. And seriously, see how you can use technology to enhance your value proposition.

Since the Full Moon occurs on the 22nd, it may be best to initiate a plan that you want to inspire growth the 2nd or third week of the month.

February’s Client Approach
Be aware that people may be a bit more temperamental the first week of the month as they may be dealing with relationship conflicts in their personal life. During this time don’t be surprised if they are also able to find a deeper level of truth about what is really important to them in a home; it may take some patient prodding on your part to get it out of them but asking pointed questions may help them to dig deeper into and own their personal values. Also, after the 19th when the Sun moves into Pisces, you could find clients to be a bit more dreamy and idealistic; let them use their imaginations to envision what is possible, yet also try to keep them on track with what is also probable. When you read this, does the overprice high seller comes to mind? Or the I-don’t-want-to-make-a-full-price-offer-on-my-dream-house-even-though-there-are-10-offers buyer? You get the picture! You have to be tough to make dreams a reality.

The waxing cycle of the Moon, as it transitions from New to Full, are thought to be a time that encourages the ushering in of a new cycle of growth and creative efforts. The waning cycle of the Moon, as it transitions from Full to New, are thought to be a time that encourages the deliberate and effective strategy of reducing, pruning, and letting go.

Void-of-Course Moon

Void-of-Course Moons are often thought to be periods where things don’t necessarily feel rooted. As such, it often feels like a better time to continue with things already in motion than to initiate them from scratch. Take a break. Go for a walk. Or revisit a proposal you put in your “for later” stack. (all times are Pacific time)

One last note – this is for fun. I did say that it is an astrology real estate guide. Meaning it is a guide and it is for fun. In other words this blog post is meant as shits and giggles and does not guarantee you real estate success. You still need to do the hard work of a Diva to be a Diva. Enjoy!
